Our ski and snowboard activities are based around our two dry ski slopes at Bowles, which is situated in a peaceful rural environment on the Kent and Sussex border five miles south of Tunbridge Wells. Ski lessons, snowboard lessons, skiing and snowboarding courses are available throughout the winter months. Ski-ing and snowboarding practice and coaching sessions are also available and private lessons are available throughout the year. As well as our open ski and snowboard sessions, our dry ski slope is host to clubs including Kent and Sussex Ski Club, Disability Snowsport UK and Bowles Ski Racing Club. We have a reputation for quality instruction - our ski and snowboard instructors are well qualified, enthusiastic and patient!
Skiers and boarders with disabilities are welcome to use the slope during practice times; we provide adapted equipment. If someone with a disability wishes to learn to ski or board and is prevented by the nature of their disability from joining group courses, we will be pleased to offer private tuition at the same price as a course.
We have two floodlit slopes, each with a variable speed ski tow and water lubrication for consistent sliding whatever the weather. Equipment is included in the cost of courses and practice sessions.
During the summer, there are courses open to the public in rock climbing, canoeing, ski-ing and snowboarding. |
